This week saw us officially move to the month of October. And with it, a solid arrival into Fall. For me, I embrace fall with giddy delight – it’s my favorite season. Out came the boots and scarves this week along with all things “pumpkin spice”. And while the weather is still beautiful and sunny, there is a welcome crispness to the air that I can’t get enough of. The rains will inevitably come and I’ll shrug into my trusty Gortex jacket with the rest of you. But, for now, a return to fall with blue skies and gorgeous fall color suits me just fine. Especially when it’s Fall Arts Walk weekend. Looking for a little quiet time with nature instead? Our outdoor activities section may give you inspiration for new fall exploration.
