The City of Lacey invites the community to join in a festive celebration at the 4th annual Parade of Lights, and the 24th annual Lighting of Huntamer Park and Christmas Tree on Monday, December 2, at 6:30 p.m.

The evening begins with a special lighted parade, featuring more than 35 vehicles, including Lacey Fire District 3’s famous Santa Mobile! The River Ridge High School (RRHS) Marching Band will lead the parade which starts at the intersection of Lacey Blvd. and Sleater-Kinney Rd., travels north on Sleater-Kinney Rd. to 7th Avenue, and then continues along 7th Avenue to Huntamer Park.

Immediately following the parade, the RRHS band will play holiday music in Huntamer Park while several thousand participants enjoy the park- and tree-lighting ceremony. The park event features many of the past traditions, including free hot cocoa (while supplies last), special characters roaming the park, and visits with Santa! New this year, vendors will be available on site with food for purchase.
