This year marks 10 years of cruising for Silver Sea Cruise Lines and, this spring, the liner is making two stops in Olympia.

The Silver Explorer may anchor between Boston Harbor and Gull Harbor on May 11 and once again May 16. This luxury cruise vessel carries 144 passengers and 118 crew. During each visit, the vessel will be anchored for 12-15 hours before departing for its next stop. During the mooring periods, passengers will be transported via small boats to and from the Port of Olympia’s Port Plaza dock where they will head out for short excursions to Mima Mounds and Mount Rainier.

This is the second passenger cruise line to announce stops at the Port of Olympia this year.  This fall, the Port will also host multiple visits from American Cruise Lines vessels.  To learn more, please visit portolympia.com.
