Olympia Federal Savings is proud to announce Taryn Colborn, Sales Assistant with the Marketing Department, as Employee of the Quarter. Colborn was selected for the honor because of her incredible leadership and extraordinary efforts in supporting many different departments within the organization, including the bank’s wealth management division in response to the many challenges presented by COVID-19.
When the pandemic struck and when many vulnerable and at-risk employees needed to stay home for safety purposes, Colborn stepped up and helped fill many needs in with the Operations, Business Banking, Wealth Management and Marketing teams.
While working in the Operations Department, it was not unusual to see Taryn taking calls from clients with OFS Financial Services and scheduling appointments. In fact, Taryn wore out the carpet on the third floor of the bank’s downtown headquarters making sure budgets and reports for the marketing team were still completed on time and important customer and community communications were edited and ready for publication. If that wasn’t enough, Colborn also helped with important phone calls for PPP business loan customers.
