Celebrating 45 years in business doesn’t happen every day. In fact, many companies never reach this impressive milestone, and when they do, they might celebrate with a birthday party or quick message out to their clientele. But The Rants Group is approaching their birthday in a different way—with a brand evolution and new project that will change the Olympia area as we know it.
The Rants Group, established in 1973, is a comprehensive real estate company that helps individuals and businesses find properties to lease, assists investors in expanding their property portfolio, and manages commercial and residential properties. The Rants Group’s sincere dedication to its community (nearly all of their properties, projects, and business take place in Thurston County) has remained unchanged in its 45 years, but its look and future is evolving.
The firm has recently undergone a rebranding of the company’s logo, marketing materials, signage, website, and more. While sticking with its classic deep red and blue hues—an homage to the past and a statement to the stalwartness of the firm—the fresh stylistic elements and serif fonts speak to the firm’s optimistic and fresh-faced outlook. Danielle Rants, Broker and Property Manager, is thrilled with the firm’s new branding. “The new look is the perfect balance of what we’re all about,” says Rants. “We kept a few important elements that are recognizable to the community and speak to our history, while incorporating more modern elements that will appeal to a whole new market.”
In addition to the rebranding, The Rants Group has set its sights on a groundbreaking new project that not only elevates the firm, but also the entire downtown Olympia area. The Percival Condominiums will be a 7-story development located at the corner of Thurston Avenue and Columbia Street, adjacent to Percival Park.
Pat Rants, President and CEO of the Rants Group, is spearheading the development, with units pre-selling now for a 2020 move-in. “Thurston County is lacking downtown living spaces that are deluxe, modern, and feature our area’s amazing views,” says Rants. “After years of getting to know our community and learning their wants and needs, we’re thrilled to be giving downtown residents unrivaled views and access to the city—simply by looking out their windows or stepping outside their front doors.”
