Prizes will be awarded for “Best Natural Look-alike” and “Best Costume Look-alike.”  Low-cost pet services will be available from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., including pet licensing sponsored by Thurston County Animal Services and a microchip clinic hosted by Hawks Prairie Veterinary Hospital for safe and secure pet identification.

Visitors to the market can enjoy free concerts and entertainment throughout the day. Don’t miss the country blues/ragtime sounds of the Wildcat Riders, beginning at 10:00 a.m., or the traditional folk music of Cricket on the Hearth at 2:00 p.m. Plus, enjoy pet agility demonstrations, free face painting, and outdoor activities for children all day long.

The Lacey Community Market offers both traditional and non-traditional market items including seasonal produce and fresh-cut flowers, breads, honey, and locally harvested foods. Crafts, hand- made jewelry, furniture, antiques, collectibles, barbeque and bakery treats, and many other delicious snacks are also available.
