Like cross-town rival North Thurston, the Timberline High School volleyball team earned a place in the state 3A volleyball tournament at Saint Martins University in Lacey. However, unlike the Rams, the Blazers were eliminated from tournament play following losses to Southridge (3-1) and Mt. Si High School (3-0). With only three seniors on the roster, the Blazers appear to have plenty of talent returning in 2013 to make a another trip to the state tournament, and possibly beyond.
