On July 24, from 10:00 am – 9:00 pm, Twisties Frozen Yogurt will be donating 25% of all sales to the Lacey Rainiers.

The Lacey Rainiers are a 19U Palomino baseball team playing for South Sound Baseball.  We are currently playing in the sanctioned PONY Region tournament, which will be followed by the Western Zone tournament in Compton, California.  A win at the Zone tournament means a trip to the PONY World Series in August.  Twisties Frozen Yogurt is helping the Lacey Rainiers raise funds for the trip by sponsoring Lacey Rainiers Day on July 24.  The donation will help pay for travel and housing costs in California.

South Sound Baseball (SSB) is a nonprofit organization founded in 1958 as a PONY affiliated youth baseball league providing playing opportunities for youth in Olympia, Lacey, Tumwater and surrounding areas. SSB provides an opportunity for players to enjoy high level competition without imposing the high costs of select programs.  We are an opportunity for players who are financially disadvantaged to participate in summer baseball.

The Lacey Rainiers have had a great season, going 37-8 as they enter postseason play.  In May, the team won the Silas Benjamin Turner Memorial Tournament at River Ridge High School.  On July 2, they won the Maltby Stallions Invitational Tournament in Snohomish.  “We have had a great season and greatly appreciate the support from our community that we have received from business like Twisties Frozen Yogurt,” says Jeff Myers.

Twisties Frozen Yogurt is located at 5500 Corporate Center Ln SE, Suite B in Lacey.
