Harlequin Productions is pleased to announce its newly expanded education program SPOTLIGHT YOUTH! To kick off the new program, Harlequin is offering 5 workshops in July for students age 13-19: Improv, Auditioning, Musical Theater Dance, Shakespeare and Stage combat. These two-hour workshops cost $50 each with discounts offered for attending multiple workshops.
Through its education programs, Harlequin provides young people with a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment to discover and hone their talents and life skills through the collaborative art of theater. Not only will students learn skills in acting, singing, and dancing, but they will also learn life lessons in areas such as teamwork, commitment, accountability and risk-taking. Over the course of their programs, Harlequin has seen students courageously try new things and make great gains in fulfilling their personal goals.
Studies show that kids who are exposed to the arts perform better academically, have higher career goals and are more civically engaged. They are the leaders of our future. They come away with a creative competitive edge, expanded critical thinking skills and are better prepared to succeed in today’s challenging world.

WHEN: July 18: Improv (10am-12pm), Auditioning (12:30pm-2:30pm)
July 22: Musical Theater Dance (2pm-5pm)
July 25: Shakespeare Playground (10am-12pm), Stage Combat (12:30pm-2:30pm)
PRICE: $50 for each individual workshop
DEALS: $75 for a full Saturday experience. Participate in all 5 workshops for only $200
