Environment Washington will be hosting a solar energy panel discussion on March 13th, from 6-8 PM at the Evergreen State College, Seminar II building, room A1107 . Washington has vast potential for solar energy – east of the Cascades, the sun shines as much as California. Even in the often cloudy Puget Sound region, the sun shines more than Germany, the world’s leading solar market. Yet, we still only get less than half of 1% of our energy from the sun. Join Environment Washington, decision-makers, solar businesses and solar enthusiasts to find out how we can utilize more solar in Washington. Please come with any questions you may have and be ready to participate in a lively discussion about solar in Washington!
