A Half-Day Course in Olympia With Resident Teacher Gen Kelsang Wangpo

We all long for happiness. Our normal perspective on life, however, directly prevents us from finding that happiness. We see happiness as depending on things outside ourself. With this approach at best we experience a temporary happiness, and often just a lot of difficulties and disappointments. Buddha taught that happiness lies within our mind. He showed how through meditation we tap into an inner light of joy, love, compassion, and wisdom, and gradually allow this enlightened perspective to pervade our whole life.

In this half-day course we will focus on understanding the power of three of the most effective meditations in terms of keeping a happy mind and living a meaningful life. There will be an opportunity to deepen our experience by engaging in a half-day retreat the following day. You can join us for the half-day course, retreat, or both.

Half-Day Course: $25 ~ $15 for Students/Seniors/Unemployed ~ Free for Supporters
Half-Day Course + Sunday Retreat: $32 ~ $22 for Students/Seniors/Unemployed ~ Free for Supporters
