The Public is Encouraged to Be Part of Forming Olympia’s Downtown Strategy
The first public workshop for Olympia’s new Downtown Strategy will take place Saturday, November 21 from 9:30 a.m.-Noon, at the Olympia Center. The public will have an opportunity to review existing downtown conditions and goals and engage in discussion of more specific objectives and mapping of preliminary downtown sub-districts (areas of special character or function). Input will help to shape preliminary land use and urban design alternatives that will be presented to the public for evaluation in February.
The Olympia Center is located a located at 222 Columbia St. NW. Doors open at 9:00 a.m. Free child-care will be provided during the workshop.
