Artist and author Chris Maynard will talk about his new book and his artistic medium at the Olympia Timberland Library, Wednesday, April 29 from 7:30 to 8:45 p.m.

“Feathers, Form, and Function” is a gorgeously crafted book, written and designed to share new ways of seeing the natural world – through the eyes of an artist, a biologist, a philosopher, and, of course, through the eyes of a bird.

This program is part of the Olympia Timberland Library’s annual “Celebration of the Species,” a series of programs honoring the community-wide “Procession of the Species.” The program is held after hours and no other library services will be available.
