The Washington Center and Ballet Northwest are thrilled to announce the return of Olympia Dance Festival on March 4 at 7 p.m. The 2023 Olympia Dance Festival features 17 dance companies from throughout Western Washington, plus special guest artist Jason Rodgers, a renowned tap dancer who has been seen on ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars”, the North American tour of the Broadway musical “Bring in Da Noise, Bring in Da Funk”, and the Disney Channel.
The program will include ballet, contemporary, hip-hop, tap, jazz, Irish dance, Chinese dance, ballroom, musical theatre and more! The show also features the world premiere of “An American in Paris” choreographed by Eugene Ballet resident choreographer Suzanne Haag, and accompanied by the Teaching Artists from Student Orchestras of Greater Olympia – Cameron May, conductor. This show typically sells out, so get you tickets before it’s too late!
