As part of the City of Lacey’s 2021 street overlay program, portions of Marvin Road NE and Willamette Drive NE will have delays and closures starting Monday, June 21.

Starting Monday, June 21, contractors will begin work to prepare the project areas for grinding and paving. Work will take place from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Travelers can expect delays and should allow for extra time when traveling through this area.

Marvin Road NE, between the Main Street roundabout and the Willamette Drive NE/Britton Parkway NE roundabout, will be closed overnight on Wednesday, June 23 and Thursday, June 24. The closure will begin each night at 7 p.m. and the road is expected to open by 7 a.m. each morning. Detours will be posted.

Willamette Drive NE, between the Hogum Bay roundabout and the Marvin Road/Willamette Drive NE roundabout, will be closed overnight on Friday, June 25; Monday, June 28; and Tuesday, June 29. The closure will begin each night at 7 p.m. and the road is expected to open by 7 a.m. each morning. Detours will be posted.
