Each month, Thurston Community Media (TCMedia)’s Mission Nonprofit connects with local organizations and agencies that are making positive impacts in our communities. Take a look back at the 10 nonprofits they highlighted in 2020.

Thurston County Food Project

The Thurston County Food Project has three goals: to provide a regular supply of food to hungry neighbors; to create new neighborhood connections and strengthen the community; and to serve as a model for other communities. Washington State Community Action Partnership

Lacey MakerSpace

The Lacey MakerSpace is a fun nonprofit located on the Saint Martin’s University campus that fosters innovation, entrepreneurship and skill building. Olympia Community Solar

Senior Services for South Sound

Senior Services for South Sound works to improve the quality of life of people as they age. They want those in their senior years to be able to keep doing all the things they love. YWCA Olympia

Concern for Animals

Media Island International

Build a Bus Home
