Fall is in the air, the kids are back in school and life is settling back into a regular routine. Now is a great time to add some recreation to your schedule! Lacey Parks and Recreation’s fall guide is online here and in print around town. It is chock-full of activities for the whole family to keep you active and learning all season long.
While big brother and sister head off to school, keep the little ones active with classes like Toddler Gym Jam for ages ten months to four years. Tots and caregivers enjoy interacting while playing in our indoor gym, with the parachute, bubbles, and more! Ages two to four can enjoy our Tactile Toddler Tuesday class where they will experience the world using their senses in a fun atmosphere. Kids ages three to fifteen can express themselves artistically with Drawing and Painting or The Joy Of Comics classes. There’s also variety of classes and workshops using Legos for learning designed for kids six to fourteen. This program instructs students using the basic STEM concepts: science, technology, engineering, and math, so they will be learning while they are having fun. Kids can get active with Martial Arts, Gymnastics, Little Lacey HoopStars basketball program and Kidz Love Soccer classes too!
Get out and go with a full range of trips, tours, and hikes for teens and adults. Trips for teens include a Haunted House Express, horseback riding, and a paintball adventure. Adults can enjoy Oktoberfest in Leavenworth or visit the waterfalls along the Columbia and leave the driving to us.
Lacey Parks also offers a variety of classes from painting and belly dancing to guitar and sign language and more. Fall is a great time to get in shape so check out Yoga, Core Strength and Cardio Fusion as well as a variety of aquatic fitness classes like Aqua Zumba and Boot Camp H20.

Registration opens on Wednesday, September 11 at 6:00am online, in person at Lacey City Hall, and by phone with Visa or MasterCard at 360-491-0857. To register online you must call prior to September 11 to set up an account and get your user name and password.
