On Friday, May 3, a 157-yard hole-in-one shot at the Thurston County Chamber’s South Sound Classic Golf Tournament earned Peter Watson a brand new 2013 Ford Focus, sponsored by All Star Ford.  The event was held at Salish Cliffs Golf Club.

Hole-in-one witness Saundra Sisk said, “I was sitting there wishing someone would get a hole in one and then it happened.  I was so excited like I had won it myself!  I wanted to run right out to the hole but wasn’t sure if the other players would be taking their drive.”

The two hole-in-one witnesses (required per insurance agreement) didn’t know who was at the tee box based on their location at the green but they did see the ball drop a few inches from the hole and then roll right into the cup.  After verifying no additional drives would be made, they went to the hole and began waving the flag and jumping up and down in excitement.  The team of four immediately came down to the green and joined in on the celebration.

This is the second hole-in-one car prize that All Star Ford has sponsored.

The South Sound Classic featured 27 teams of four, 25 hole & event sponsors, and handed out over $1200 in prizes – not including the new car.
