LeMay manager, Tony Belesiotis, waits in the dunk tank. Employees could donate money to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Thurston County in exchange for dunking a LeMay manager.

Lacey, WA. The Thurston County Fairgrounds was the site of the LeMay Pacific Disposal 1st Annual Summer Employee BBQ on Saturday. Over 300 employees representing the South District (Lacey, Aberdeen, Centralia) were there with their families for fun, food, and games.

Throughout the day employees participated in tug-a-war, carnival games, and a chance to sink their favorite manager in a dunk tank! That’s right, by providing a donation to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Thurston County, employees had 20 minutes with 9 different managers from LeMay sitting in a dunk tank. The fun surrounding the dunk tank was definitely the highlight of the afternoon with dozens of employees lining up for a shot at sinking one of their own. The event was so popular that it raised over $500 for the Boys & Girls Clubs in just a couple of hours!!

Jocelyn White, who organized the event, said, “We love supporting organizations that work with kids and we think the Boys & Girls Clubs is doing great things here in Thurston County.”

Joe Ingoglia, CEO of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Thurston County, said, “We want to thank LeMay South District Manager Jeff Harwood for inviting us out to be a part of the festivities for the day and for being such a strong supporter of our organization.”
