FOCF Rain or shine there is always something exciting to do outdoors in Thurston County.
This coming weekend there is a race hosted by the Friends of Capital Forest which is a great event to watch or participate in. Drive up toward Fall Creek and ask around for a good location to watch the race. There will be racing from all over the North West.
If you want to get out on the water head to Boston Harbor and rent a sea kayak. I would suggest getting out early, or call ahead, to ensure you get a boat as demands will be high with the 90 degree days headed into the weekend.
