As part of the City of Tumwater’s Arbor Day celebration, the City Tree Board is hosting a second open house to support the preparation of the Urban Forestry Management Plan.
The City is developing the Plan to guide the maintenance, management, and improvement of the urban forest in the City for the benefit of the entire community. The Plan will provide protocols, outcomes, and implementation actions to maintain and enhance trees, understory, and forests on public and private land.
This second open house is one of the public engagement strategies that the City is using to encourage and facilitate community participation during the Plan development process.
