A record number of businesses applied for a Thurston Green designation this year and the community will celebrate those businesses at the Chamber’s April Forum.
The luncheon will include Earth Day remarks by Congressman Denny Heck, a keynote address by Providence St. Peter’s Hospital Sustainability Coordinator Keith Edgerton, a Green Business Expo and a chance to meet businesses and organizations in Thurston County committed to environmental sustainability. All Thurston Green businesses who applied for their 2016 designation will receive recognition and we will honor a Small, Medium, Large and Municipal Thurston Green Business/Organization of the Year.
