“The Barefoot Bandit Documentary Film Screening” 7pm on May 28 $2 Suggested Donation
A film telling the story of the life of Colton Harris-Moore. This young boy’s dream of flying and designing airplanes becomes a reality when he breaks out of a halfway house at the age of 15 and steals the first of five aircraft. Over several years, the thief who became known as the Barefoot Bandit, stole five aircraft as well as boats and cars, and burglarized many private residences in Washington. Interviews in the film include Colton’s captor, his lawyer, his mother, and the FBI team involved in this almost unbelievable story. Stay for a question and answer session with filmmaker Carly Bodmer after the screening.
