“Historic Preservation Walk” 12pm on May 8 $2 Suggested Donation
In honor of Historic Preservation Month, local historians and preservationists lead a walk from the State Capital Museum to the Capitol, sharing the architectural history and preservation efforts of the National Register South Capitol Neighborhood and the restoration of capitol campus landscaping to the Olmstead brothers’ original vision as designed by them in 1928. Co-sponsored by the Olympia Historical Society/Bigelow House Museum.
