Do you love maps? Come learn about how geographic data is being used to make life better at the City of Olympia. We’ll talk about everything from optimizing garbage truck routes to planning for sea level rise. Speaker Marcy LaViollette is the GIS Analyst for the City of Olympia, where she gets to solve geographic puzzles all day long. She previously worked for ESRI headquarters, and has a B.S. in Environmental Engineering from Harvey Mudd College.
