Snag insider tips to make your nonprofit’s grant proposals stand out!

The South Sound Funders Forum is a great opportunity to hear directly from foundation and corporate funders about their giving guidelines, focus, processes, and any recent pivots.

Choose four 25-minute sessions, each led by one of our region’s major grantmakers. In this Zoom simulation of sitting around 12-person tables, you will be able to discuss grantmaking with funders – while wearing your slippers!

2020 Funder Selection: Funder selection will start at noon on Tuesday, November 17. Registrants will receive instructions by email the preceding week.

NEW THIS YEAR: Sessions will be recorded (pending permission of each funder): A few days after the event, you will receive a link offering you a 30-day window to watch each funder present and answer questions (so you can learn about funders whose sessions you couldn’t attend).

Note: This is not a forum for making specific pitches about your program or organization, but rather an opportunity to hear directly from grantmakers and to gather contact info for future development.

Please read the etiquette rules for the South Sound Funders Forum. We look forward to seeing you on Friday, December 4!

Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteer Opportunities: We are looking for Session Monitors who stay with one funder the entire event to help with technical issues and manage time. Perks include getting to know one funder more in-depth, event cost waived, and having access to recorded sessions of all funders after the event. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Jennifer Dumlao (jennifer@viriditasgrants.com) or Gale Hemmann (ghemmann@communityyouthservices.org). We are prioritizing volunteer recruitment from organizations within communities of color and grant seekers who identify as BIPOC.
