Olympia World Affairs Council Lecture Series: Climate Change Policy in the Age of Trump

Beth Doglio will discuss climate change policy in the age of Trump. Fulfilling promises made during the campaign, the Trump Administration withdrew from the Paris Agreement and reversed a number of climate change policies established by the Obama Administration.  What is the impact of these recent decisions?  Rep. Doglio will discuss this question from a variety of perspectives, on the global, national to the regional levels.

Recently elected to the Washington State Legislature to represent the local 22nd District, she will also speak to the importance and current policy strategies in play at the state and local levels to respond to climate change.
