Old-Fashioned Love Desserts Class

Westport Winery is delighted to offer a culinary class on Old-Fashioned Love Desserts taught by winery co-owner Kim Roberts and well-known Westport baker Marlene McCleery. This class will focus on recipes laced in love lore and anchored with aphrodisiac ingredients. The class could have been called Truffles, Trifles and Tarts, in naming just three of the incredible recipes that will be taught and tasted. When you add in a passionate Pavlova and a flirty fondue you’ve got five recipes for romance. This class will be on Sunday, February 9 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Each recipe will be amorously accompanied by one of Westport’s award-winning wines. The price to attend this class is $30 per person or $25 for wine club members. This is a perfect gift to give your Valentine or make it an experience for two by showing your love and attending with a friend. Winery fan favorites Christine Hill and Ken Albert will serenade guests into class as they perform classic love songs in the winery’s restaurant from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, February 9 before the culinary class.
