Following the enactment of the Billy Frank Jr. Tell Your Story Act, introduced by U.S. Rep Denny Heck (WA-10) and signed into law by President Obama in late 2015, U.S. Department of the Interior Secretary Sally Jewell will join tribal leaders and elected officials to officially recognize the Billy Frank Jr. Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge and Medicine Creek Treaty National Memorial for the first time. 

Join Interior Secretary Sally Jewell, U.S. Senator Maria Cantwell, U.S. Rep. Denny Heck (WA-10), U.S. Rep. Derek Kilmer (WA-06), former U.S. Rep. Norm Dicks, Nisqually Tribe Chairman Farron McCloud, Leaders from the Nisqually, Squaxin Island, Puyallup, and Muckleshoot tribes and family members of Billy Frank Jr.
