The Viking Fest is focused in our small community of Rainier Wa. (Just outside Olympia/Lacey). It’s a FREE community event over 2 days. Costumes are definitely encouraged and yes there are prizes!!! We plan on having a ton of viking fun, share viking knowledge, activities for all ages, classes, demonstrations of heavy fighting/swordsmanship/jousting/horseback skills, selfie photo booth, and so much more.
This event is planned and run to support our community by gathering proceeds for the Rainier Senior Center & Food Bank. It also supports local small businesses by giving an opportunity for local vendors & merchants to show off their goods.
