MLK Day Tree Planting with the Stream Team

Residents are invited to join volunteers, the City of Lacey, and Stream Team for a tree planting party on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.  Volunteers will plant trees and shrubs along Woodland Creek. Tools, gloves, snacks, and refreshments will be provided. A raffle will also be held at the end of the event with a chance to win one of five raffle prizes for a day of climbing and rentals at Warehouse Rock Gym, along with other fabulous prizes.

Stream Team hosts a variety of volunteer opportunities and workshops throughout the year to enhance our local water resources. Volunteer events are a great way to earn community service or volunteer hours, enjoy the outdoors, and help your community.
