Wildbone is pleased to announce the West Coast leg of their 2015 Love & Death Songs Tour in support of their debut double album of the same name. Wildbone will be performing a solo acoustic show at The Voyeur in Olympia on Tuesday, May 12th. Love & Death Songs was recorded live in Brooklyn, NY in July of 2014 over the course of four sweltering days with some of New York’s finest musicians, including Walker Adams on drums and Brad Whiteley on organ.

Wulsin, 34, is known for 16 Tons, a project initiated in 2006 to transform the demolition of an 18-story Argentinian prison into a work of disappearing art, and featured in the NYTimes and Art21. Wulsin has played music all his life and he withdrew from Yale during his freshman year of college to form a band.

In late 2013, after a decade working as a sculptor and conceptual artist, Wulsin wrote a song inspired by the death of a teacher, and has been writing and playing music every day since.

That song, Widow, and 20 others appear on the two disc album Love & Death Songs, an infectious mix of Rock & Roll, Rhythm & Blues and Country with undertones of Punk and Soul. Featuring special appearances by Solomon Silber, Lareysa Smith, Lily Chapin, Tamara Joy, Dimi Noise and Omega Sirius Moon, the record is co-produced, engineered, mixed and mastered by Supremo Massiv. Wildbone has been playing regular shows in NYC, and touring in South America, Europe and Africa.
