This half-day class provides the basic introduction to Buddhist view, meditation, and practice that is suitable for beginners and intermediate students.

Receive commentary and guided meditations from the text “How to Solve Our Human Problems” including commentary on why we get angry, how to accept suffering, and how to overcome anger. We will receive commentary on the meditation practices that lead to contentment and a reduction of anger and dissatisfaction. The course will guide us onto the correct meditation methods and understandings that cause wisdom to take root in our heart.

This course will be conducted with brief teachings and guided meditation in each of the three sessions so we can cultivate a meditation practice and patience.
