The Environmental Issues Slam features a series of 5-minute presentations from middle and high school students on an environmental issue of their choice. Audience members and judges will vote separately to choose which presentation was the best. Prizes are awarded to participants and the winners (see website). The Slam is intended to inform and entertain the audience as well as educate the presenters during the development of their presentations. This event is moderated by Olympia City Council member Clark Gilman. Know a student who may be interested in presenting? Space is limited, so presenters must pre-register to secure their spot. Students can present individually or as a team. Register here.

A number of ECO Network members are also participating in an Environmental Education Resource Fair. Help us spread the word!
