Lisa David, owner Nineveh Assyrian Food Truck, Olympia
Working in her parents’ restaurant while she was growing up, Lisa decided she wanted to create a place where she could satisfy her passion for cooking the food of her heritage. Named Nineveh Assyrian after the last capital of the Assyrian Empire, which was once one of the largest settlements in the world, her food truck has gained the reputation as having some of the best fare in Olympia. When she joins us at BSC, she’ll teach how to make her favorite summer salads and spreads including, Hearts of Palm Salad, Tabouleh, Chickpea Salad, Baba Ghanoush, Made-from-Scratch Hummus, and Lentil Kale Salad. Taste the food of these ancient people! Complementary wine pairing. $45
