Join us for the June edition of our Second Saturday lecture series from 10:00-11:00 at Shotwell’s Landing Nursery (14447 Littlerock Road, Rochester, WA 98579) to learn more about our wild seed collection program!

Jessika Blackport, our native plant propagation specialist and manager of the seed collection program, and Jessa Patton, our native seed production technician AmeriCorps member will cover the current operations of the program, some examples of native prairie plants and how to identify them, seed collection techniques, and more!

Join us afterwards from 11:30—3:00 for a seed collection outing at some of the prairies that we work on. We’ll be departing as a group directly from Shotwell’s Landing Nursery—carpooling to the work party will be available after the lecture ends.

Please contact ssvolunteers@cnlm.org for directions, questions, or more information. We hope to see you all there!
