Who knew that Halloween costumes, family fun and a great cause make such a great reason for a five-kilometer run by East Bay? Community Youth Services! The agency, the largest child-welfare agency in the area, is holding its Brighter Futures Trick or Trot Run for a fourth time and turning up the fun by adding all sorts of decorations and Halloween energy. It’s a fitness event for the entire family. The run wraps up with a music filled Monster Mash in the plaza in front of the Hands on Children’s Museum, prizes and performances.
