Speaking of beer, exciting news! Dick’s Brewing Company now has their own canning line. With increased production flexibility, Dick’s can now can a wider range of their delicious beers. Get ready to discover new favorites and revisit classics with fresher brews for everyone.
Dick’s started canning their awesome beer in 2020 using a mobile canner. Last year, they purchased a canning line from a Seattle brewery that went out of business.
“Being able to can ourselves helps immensely with the brewing schedule and, most importantly, allows us to provide fresh beer!” says owner Julie Pendleton. “We would have to brew enough beer in multiple flavors to make it worthwhile to pay the mobile canner, but there were times when we didn’t sell the beer quick enough that it started losing its freshness. Now, we are able to can smaller amounts of beer more often, which helps with our brew schedule and the freshness of the product! Having the canning line also provides an opportunity for us to be able to can new beers more easily.”
Thanks to the canning line, you can expect to find even fresher Dick’s beers on store shelves. The canning process helps lock in peak flavor and aroma, ensuring you experience the brewery’s magic in every sip.
