This event provides the parents/guardians of incoming Kindergarteners an opportunity to spend time learning about all things Kindergarten – what a Kindergartener’s day looks like, how to register their student, information regarding transportation and a host of other topics intended to smooth the transition and help welcome parents to the Tumwater School District.
North Thurston’s will be at Timberline High and Tumwater’s will be at Tumwater High. Child care is provided on-site and parents are given an opportunity to visit several different stations that provide information that will be important as they prepare for their child to enter school in the fall. This is for all incoming Tumwater School District students who will be five years of age by August 31, 2018.
