Puget Sound Energy and the City of Lacey are teaming up to help significantly reduce the cost of energy efficiency home improvements through a new rebate offer for residents within the city of Lacey.

From making home weatherization and efficiency upgrades, to installing new electric appliances, Puget Sound Energy offers home energy rebates to help households improve their energy efficiency and save money on their monthly energy bills for years to come. But now, through the end of the year, or while funding lasts, Lacey residents are getting an additional incentive to improve the comfort and efficiency of their homes, thanks to a matching rebate from the City of Lacey.

Lacey residents can receive double the rebate amount for recently installed qualifying equipment. This matching rebate is funded by a city initiative as part of its Climate Action Plan

“We know cost is a big consideration when customers are considering energy efficiency upgrades and improvements to their homes” said PSE’s Customer Energy Management Director Gilbert Archuleta. “This partnership with the City of Lacey puts more options within reach for more people.”

“The City of Lacey is excited to partner with PSE on the matching rebate program for residential home energy efficiency upgrades,” said the city’s Climate and Sustainability Coordinator, Linsey Fields. “This is the first of many new climate and sustainability programs the City will be launching with its new climate action funding.”

Residents within the city of Lacey can check eligibility on the City of Lacey’s website and follow the steps to apply. If approved, residents will get an initial rebate from PSE, and then a matching rebate within two weeks.

Customers can apply to the PSE energy-efficiency rebates here. The offer will last for as long as funds are available.
