Summer is flying by quickly. TOGETHER! is gearing up for several exciting opportunities open to the public this August and you don’t want to miss out!
TOGETHER! Club House and The Bridge Music Project invite you to a free listening party August 1from 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. at City of Olympia’s Harbor House located at Percival Landing Park. Join us for an unforgettable showcase featuring the work of Club House middle school students who participated in an annual workshop with The Bridge to use music and writing as tools to deal with life’s challenges.
On August 8we are having our first-ever Pub Night 5:30 p.m. – 7 p.m. at Oly Taproom. Come in for an appetizer on us or grab a drink while you meet our Host Homes teams, hear stories of the impact of our work and make your gift in support of students & families. Our Back to Basics Event is back on August 17 from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m.. It is at Tumwater Middle School (6335 Littlerock Rd SW, Tumwater, WA 98512). It is for children & teens entering Pre-K – age 18. There is NO COST and these are immunizations required for school enrollment plus COVID-19 vaccines, health insurance navigation, haircuts, food resources, school supplies, housing AND MORE! There is no preregistration. All immunizations will be first-come, first-served. We cannot guarantee availability of immunizations. Students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. No exemptions/waivers will be issued. Please bring the child’s previous immunization records, if available. We have our 5th Annual TOGETHER Fore Kids Golf Tournament presented by Tumwater Education Association. It is on August 24 at 7:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. at Tumwater Valley Golf Club. Warm up on the Range at 7am thanks to Olympia Federal Savings or arrive by 7:30 for the 8am Shotgun start, full tournament play (ending at 1), followed by lunch and an awards ceremony sponsored by Edward Jones – Jimmy Morgan and Tag’s Awards & Specialties! It will be 18 holes of golf (scramble rules), continental breakfast, VIP mulligan packages, putting contest qualifier on the turn to win a week stay in Palm Springs (golf heaven!), a delicious lunch, drinks, fun in the sun for a good cause, and qualified putting shots & an awards ceremony following tournament play.
