Olympia Community Sailing welcomes parents and youth to attend an open-house information night about our Fall Season Race Team offerings on August 29, at 6 p.m. at the Olympia Yacht Club (OCS). RSVP here. Learn about Race Teams, Regattas, Practice Schedule, our Community and how to get involved!

Our Youth Opti Champ and Green Teams for sailors 13 and younger, and our High School Race Team for sailing in 8th grader or higher. High School Sailing has tryouts for Varsity September 15 and 16th after school – no experience required to join Junior Varsity! Teams we support are: Olympia, Capital, Black Hills and Tumwater High Schools. Sailors who attend a smaller school, are home schooled, etc. you may join – there are simply different eligibility guidelines we follow.

Alumni from Olympia, Capital and other Teams attend elite Collegiate programs at Tufts, George Washington, Bowdoin, Cal Poly, USC, UW, the Coast Guards academy and more. High School Sailing is a fantastic opportunity for leadership and sport to include on College resumes, and many Collegiate Coaches look for High School Sailing experience.

Olympia Community Sailing is a 501c3 non-profit organization, no membership is required, and scholarships and payment plans are available. We partner with the Olympia Yacht Club for facilities, the City of Olympia Parks and Recreation for Summer Camps, and have a second site at Swantown Marina!
