Lakefair Races 2022 are on The Rotary Club of Olympia and the LakeRun organization will offer a half marathon, 8k and 3k on the morning of July 16, Lakefair Saturday. Runners can register on line at the Olympia Lakefair Races website. Day of race registration is available also.
Kids 14 and under race free in the 3k. This is the 18th season for the races. Proceeds support area high school track programs, Washington Cross Country Coachers scholarships, and the Rotary Club of Olympia Foundation scholarships and community grants.
“We are pleased that Washington State is open for business from Covid restrictions and Lakefair is back! Lakefair Races will once again be the Saturday of Lakefair on July 16. We welcome all runners of any abilities, especially those frustrated by the lack of running events for the last several years.
