The SW Washington Food Hub, a collection of farmers from Thurston, Lewis, and Grays Harbor Counties will be providing a diversity of hearty winter crops in an 8-week Multi-Farm Produce Box. The program begins October 28 (with an option to buy weekly thereafter), with available pick-up sites in Olympia, Tumwater, Lacey, Aberdeen, Chehalis, Rochester, Shelton, Long Beach, South Bend, Elma. Boxes are available for purchase now at SW Washington Food Hub website, or by contacting info@swwafoodhub.com.

The Southwest Washington Food Hub started with a board of local producers formed in 2019. The Food Hub team is part of a farmer-owned cooperative, comprised of individual farmers, working to connect the local population with wholesome, sustainably grown food. The Food Hub marketplace provides affordable access to healthy food from multiple farms that can be ordered from the comfort of your home.

The winter 2020 multi-farm produce box will include a diversity of hearty winter crops such as beets, cabbage, carrots, cilantro, turnips, rutabaga, parsnips, leeks, Brussel sprouts, winter squash, onions, garlic, shallots, potatoes, dill, arugula, spinach, salad greens, braising mixes, chard, kale, head lettuce, and collards. A weekly newsletter will be sent highlighting local farms and recipes.
