Are you at risk for developing Type 2 Diabetes?  Ready taking preventative action? Help is on its way! Providence Medical Group – Boldt Diabetes is now accepting applications for a Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP) which will be offered in Lacey and Centralia beginning in June.

For the first time, this program is now covered by Medicare for qualified individuals. Others should check with their insurance provider about covering the cost of the program (about $442 for the year).

DPP is a CDC recognized, proven lifestyle change, year-long program that helps participants lose weight and cut their risk of diabetes in half.  Group classes meet weekly for the first 4 months, then twice monthly, then monthly, with a maintenance group meeting ongoing.

View the PreventT2 flyer for more information.
