Funnyman Dan Aykroyd once said, “You do not need a therapist if you own a motorcycle.” Motion, sights, sounds and smells are amplified from the freedom of the open road. Few things exemplify the American Dream better. And, with a little luck—and a Hog Wild trip to the beach—you too can ride off into the sunset thanks to Quinault Beach Resort and Casino.

This summer, take a break between boating on the lake and cruising with the top down, to dust off that motorcycle and ride over to Quinault Beach Resort and Casino’s Hog Wild Coastal Rally weekend.

Thursday, July 27 through Sunday, July 30 Quinault Beach is transformed into the home of all things motorcycle. Whether your bike is new or vintage, chromed or matte black, real or imagined, this is the weekend for you. And daydreamers: stay tuned for the chance to turn that fantasy into a 2017 Indian Dark Horse reality.

The event is free to attend and $60 to participate. Registered VIP’s receive entry for themselves and their bike, 4-day VIP parking, entry to the Poker Run and Walk, bike games, a Friday night Land and Sea buffet and Saturday Hog Wild BBQ Feast, t-shirt and commemorative pin and bike badge. Sign up in advance at www.HogWildQBRC.com or at the door.

Whether or not you bring your two-wheeled baby, take a stroll through the many vendors and booths set up across the resort or enjoy food, drink and gaming specials. Wear your dancing shoes for live music all weekend long. Hell’s Belles, a renowned AC/DC tribute band, plays Friday night from 9:00 to 10:30 p.m. and Saturday afternoon from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. This returning act was a 2016 fan-favorite and headlines this year’s event.

On Saturday, look for Creedence Revelation to take the stage playing all your Creedence Clearwater Revival favorites from 9:00 to 10:30 p.m. And all weekend long, Lucky Tongue and Corey Daniels with Humptulips will keep the party going indoors and out.

Always wanted a bike of your own but couldn’t quite swing it? At Hog Wild, they’re raffling off a brand new Dark Horse motorcycle (rev those imaginations here) one of two ways. Either purchase a $20 charity raffle ticket—benefitting local Grays Harbor non-profits—for your chance to win or ask at the Q-Club window for details on their $150,000 Road to Hog Wild promotion. Once enrolled in the free rewards club, game play earns tickets into the drawing and up to $10,000 cash. Drawing for the Dark Horse takes place at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 30.

Less than two hours from Olympia, come for the day or stay for the weekend; Quinault Beach has you covered either way. Book a room or suite in their ocean view on-site hotel or reserve a space in the nearby RV campground by calling 888-461-2214. Need to work out the summertime stress with a trip to the spa? Book early at 800-555-1222 for your facial, massage or foot treatment. Actually, school doesn’t start for another month – book two treatments just in case.

If your stay runs through Sunday, don’t forget to enter the Sunday Snapshot competition. Make a social media post from the resort using hashtag #QSundaySnapshot, show it at the Q-Club window, and receive free play and entry into a $1,000 monthly drawing. Something as simple as a beach-front selfie could pay for a summer’s worth of return visits.

Summer is definitely the season for dreamers. Hit the open road to Quinault Beach while the days are long and the sun is shining.
