Change can be stressful. Moving, starting a new job or opening your own business are often moments of nervous uncertainty. Local real estate professional Nicole Braam and her team, however, are doing all three at once by opening Nicole Braam & Associates of Better Properties Lacey. But, it’s worth it to them and, they hope, for their clients. The team aim to make your home buying and selling transition smooth and hassle-free from their new Meridian Campus offices.

As wives of active duty servicemen, Nicole and team member Chelsea Bamrick have lived locally for many years. Combining many years of real estate experience, they partnered together in this new venture starting in March 2017 with the Lacey office opening its doors on May 1.

Coming up on Friday, July 14 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., Nicole, Chelsea and their whole team invite you to join them for a free Grand Opening celebration and meet-and-greet.

Featuring delicious food from Meconi’s, Chick-Fil-A, and the Mayan restaurants, the afternoon’s festivities are open to everyone. Enjoy snacks and ask all your moving-related questions as you mix and mingle. Then, around a 5:00 p.m., join the ribbon cutting ceremony by Lacey Mayor Andy Ryder. The event will include raffle prizes, gift baskets from local businesses and more.

With nearly 10 years of collective experience, both brokers are excited for this opportunity. “We dreamed of owning our real estate business for quite some time,” shares Chelsea. “And after countless hours of research, preparation and support of our family, friends and other trusted professionals, we decided to open up Better Properties Lacey. We knew we wanted to be in the up and coming Meridian Campus area where there are currently no other residential real estate offices. Finding our location went amazingly smooth and we couldn’t be more excited about our office and its location.”

Knowing first-hand the challenges of military life, Better Properties Lacey strives to serve families in transition. “We specialize in helping anyone who is looking to buy or sell a home in the Lacey, Olympia, and surrounding areas of the JBLM. We also specialize in helping service members who are relocating to other areas find and connect with other Realtors in that area,” explains Nicole. “What makes us different is we truly pride ourselves on giving our clients the ultimate experience when they are buying or selling a home with us. We treat each customer with great care as purchasing or selling a home is a major life experience and we always feel very fortunate when we are able to be a part of such an important event.”

One of the 5 largest military bases in the world, JBLM has a population of over 200,000. Skilled and knowledgeable relocation experts are a blessing to tired families wanting to put down roots in our thriving community.

With an eye on the future, Nicole Braam & Associates of Better Properties Lacey is already working on plans to expand and grow. They are excited about their next big step. “We will be expanding and will begin offering Property Management services next year. Our future goals are also to continue to service clients in our area looking to buy/sell a home and to continue to be a resource and give back to our community.”

Richard Branson once said, “Overcoming fear is the first step to success for entrepreneurs. The winners all exemplify that and the hard work and commitment they have shown underlines what is needed to set up a business.” In the few short months since they opened, Better Properties Lacey has already earned 5-star reviews and amazing Zillow feedback from happy clients.
