The Thurston County Auditor’s Elections Division has mailed more than 105,000 ballots to voters in Thurston County for the August 1, 2017 Primary Election. Ballots are also available at the Thurston County Auditor’s Office, located at 2000 Lakeridge Dr SW, Building 1, Room 118 in Olympia. Districts in this election include the cities of Lacey, Olympia, and Tumwater and the Olympia and Tumwater School Districts.

Any registered voter who has not received a ballot by Wednesday, July 19 should contact the Thurston County Auditor’s Office at 360-786-5408 or elections@co.thurston.wa.us, or visit the Auditor’s Office for a ballot.

Ballots for military and overseas voters registered in Thurston County were mailed on Friday, June 16.

The Auditor’s Office has opened 19 secure ballot drop boxes throughout Thurston County. A list of locations and addresses is included in mailed ballot materials and available online at ThurstonVotes.org. These boxes are open 24 hours a day and will close promptly at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 1 (Election Day). Mailed ballots must be postmarked by August 1; voters are advised to check mailboxes for pickup times to make sure their ballots will be postmarked by Election Day.
