Thurston Economic Development Council is pleased to announce the 2015 Business Recognition Award Winners.
- Non-Profit Organization of the Year: South Sound Parent to Parent
- New Business of the Year: Single Handed Consulting
- Small Business of the Year: Welch’s Appliances
- Corporate Employer of the Year: Batdorf & Bronson Coffee Roasters
Each year, the EDC spotlights businesses and organizations that have demonstrated a significant contribution to the health and vitality of the Thurston County economy. Nominees and finalists were recognized and award winners announced at the 2015 Business Recognition Awards on Thursday, March 31, 2016, at the Red Lion Hotel in Olympia.
Finalists in the New Business category included: Single Handed Consulting, Cross Fit Lacey Training Day, and The Lanai Cafe. Small Business finalists were Welch’s Appliances, GHB Insurance, Washington Business Bank, and Derma Medical Spa. Corporate Employer finalists were Capital Medical Center; Storman’s Inc. and Batdorf and Bronson Coffee Roasters. Non-profit of the Year finalists included KAOS Community Radio, Olympia/Thurston Crime Stoppers and South Sound Parent to Parent.
