As a grand finale to the fifty-sixth annual Capital Lakefair Events, locals will again be able to enjoy one of the biggest and best fireworks shows in the area. The Lakefair Fireworks will begin at 10pm on Sunday, July 21 and will be launched over Capital Lake with the Washington State Capitol Building as a backdrop.
The fireworks show will be set to music which will be broadcast on KGY AM-1240. The synchronized show is always a crowd pleaser and families are encouraged to come early with chairs and blankets to find a prime spot.
With so many local residents pouring into the downtown area, parking can get tricky. Luckily Intercity Transit will have added busses and routes to serve those wanting to get in and out of downtown with ease. More information can be found here.
